Great Foreshadowing. They showed a bit of this scene when Ichigo was fighting the hollow who killed his mother. Just great how the stories connected. Really in love with this show!

And it finally concludes the past of the Shiba clan. How Rukia "killed" Kaien and how his wounds were from Shinigami.

And the best part is he look exactly like Ichigo in different hair color and they both fought hollow for their honor, and that hollow had killed many soul reapers like the one Ichigo killed, he care about rukia the same way Ichigo do, maybe Ichigo could be his reincarnation bcuz that does make sense that black hair guy died when rukia was young, and he was dead in soul world so he reincarnated in the real world

if that wasn't obvious already... they did hint it quite a few times. I feel Ichigo is the reincarnation of some legendary leader/person from the past, hencewhy everyone sees the potential in him and he can learn shit so fast.

he is just so similar to kaien that rukia felt so comfortable with him and even they mentioned it in many eps when that red hair guy asked rukia whether she saw "him" in ichigo

The spoiler is not bleach related. Jiraiya died and since he had lingering regrets(not getting to nail tsunade or so ) so he became a hollow.

I know it's been like almost half a year, but like. Just saying. THe reason Rukia wasn't even a seated officer was because Byakuya basically didn't want her in a high position. A high position comes with more difficult missions.

I see. Now it makes perfect sense why Rukia got attached to Ichigo so quick. This also might be some sort of foreshadowing of Ichigo's future where he'll be married/committed to someone and still will be fighting hollows. And it's also ironic that Rukia blames herself for killing Kaien like Ichigo blames himself for killing his mom, maybe this is why he is compatible with Rukia as a friend/sibling relationship

I swear, that intro does NOT match the mood of the last several episodes!!!

RIP though, I wish Rukia waited for another descendant from SHiba clan.
